Love, forever and a day more...
This is the beginning of the rest of our lives.
We will always get to have each other, not just in our corners but our lives are now joined together. It's more than to have and to hold; it is to grow, to learn, to become, to thrive, and to fulfill purpose.
Forever and a day more is not to sound poetic. It shows our determination to always go the extra for each other. We are excited to embark on this beautiful journey of forever, and grateful to share this moment with family and loved ones.
An Orchestra-tion
It's amazing how it takes just one second to speak to, lock eyes with, glance at, shake hands with, or chat with someone whom we will end up spending billions of seconds of our lives with.
Coincidence? No! Naomi also attending the same university and the same fellowship wasn't coincidence. It's how God strings things together, an orchestration.
Back in CFi, I had convinced her to join my unit and we went from secretariat buddies to best of friends. Really, I was doing the Lord's work and He was doing mine. One day she said to me, “Don’t care about me so much or I will like you". Too late! I already did, and it’s the best decision I ever made.
We have gone from buddies to friends, and soon enough, husband and wife. This is for the world to know that I've found my wife for forever and a day more.

Surname First
People fall in love in mysterious ways, but I fell in love in a deliberate, captivating way. It will always be wonderful, how Sam and I went from strangers to becoming each other’s confidant. From our conversations, I quickly realised the gem that Sam is.
One day, when Sam and I met for lunch, I said to him “I like your surname and I’d love to answer it one day”.
You might say I shot my shot. You're wrong. I spoke my future. A hundred percent, I would say it was because I loved the sound of the surname. But a thousand percent, it was because I loved the bearer of the name. It is beautiful that years later, I am taking his surname.
As I am taking Sam's surname, I am proud of the identity I will take on. I will not just be a wife, I will be Sam's wife, and I will always be so glad to write my surname first.
